PS Anime Games, More translation, Anime Parodies

I did some work on this weekend. I'll be the first to admit that this page has not gotten enough attention in the past year or so. I poured a lot of my effort into Playongo and various other things like work and translations. I'm turning some attention back to it now however as I think it's worth maintaining and it should be a lot easier to do so once a base level of quality has been reached

Today I added more PSX screen shots and box art from the library. I also managed to dig up the handful of old reviews from the previous incarnation of the site. I added them myself and included the name of the original poster and an estimated score. If you're an original poster and would like a change made please get a hold of me. I also added a couple of PS3 games to the list. It seems that these days it's the PS3 games that folks are looking for and since some anime based ones have been coming out in the past year there is actually some content to put there now. I still need to add a bunch but I'm starting at least.

I did some translating on Ah! My Goddess for the PC-FX. I'm probably about 1/5th of the way through the first block which puts me really roughly about 5% finished with a 1st draft of this script. It's reminding me of the charm of this series which I have not experienced in a number of years. I'd say at this rate I could see being finished around June of this year, though I make no promises. I've also gotten a request for Makeruna! Makendou Z. This is not on the list of games to work on right now, but once I've knocked out a few of my high priorities on the PC-FX I may start to dig into some of the PC-FX games that people want translated including this one.

I got deep into some pretty goofy territory on youtube last night and found a few anime parody gems I'd like to share. Enjoy!

Sweet, I'll have to check that out. :) I've been re-watching Lucky Star and Haruhi. I still think MM! was one of the funniest things I saw recently. I haven't found anything super great from the recent crop yet The new Shaft thing is meh so far. I did like what I saw of Ika Musume from last season though.

Ok, that K-ON Beebop intro was totally win.

The show I e-mailed about is called Koe de Oshigoto. It is very funny, and highly recommended.
