Summary
An English translation of the first Madou Monogatari dungeon crawler for Game Gear. This is a separate release from the later Mega Drive adaptation and the English patches for the other Game Gear entries.

Release
Version 0.9 was posted on September 1, 2010 as a fully playable English patch. It incorporated Sfon's compass fix, although the recovered project notes report that the ending credits were still not functioning.
History
The project began in September 2009. The translation was nearly drafted by January 2010 and was handed to Kingofcrusher later that month. Variable-width font and compression work followed, and an incomplete playable patch appeared in April. A defect in the original compass behavior was corrected before the September release.
Preservation notes
The recovered local material includes the 0.9 release archive, its readme, screenshots, before-and-after compass images, and a separate compass-fix RUP patch. The release archive has SHA-256 A2C3E9716DC2029F13A30CA8693C65367F74E459B160B49226E27580DE9C7171. Preserve the standalone fix as development history while presenting the integrated 0.9 package as the playable release.
