Release
Updated Version 1.1 was released on August 22nd, 2026 and should fix an intermittent issue with the "yes/no" prompt.
Version 1.0 was released on August 9, 2026. The game is fully playable in English. The repository contains a BPS patch and documentation; it does not include the original game.
The release is for personal use only. Commercial use, reproduction cartridges, and redistribution of the patch require permission under the terms stated in its readme.
History
- Initial phase: Text encoding was decoded and the script was extracted and translated as part of an effort to cover untranslated 1987 Famicom releases.
- 2019: A full playthrough identified and translated additional text.
- 2026: The ROM was expanded, English text handling was implemented, fixed text and graphics were revised, and the project was playtested for release.
- 2026-08-09: Version 1.0 released.
- 2026-08-22 Version 1.1 released.
