Summary
An English translation of the notoriously difficult Famicom action-adventure game Sherlock Holmes: Hakushaku Reijou Yuukai Jiken. Holmes travels through British cities, defeats bosses, gathers clues, interprets a final password, and raises his investigative rating to rescue the kidnapped countess.

The English translation was announced on March 8, 2018. Its documentation explains otherwise obscure completion requirements, including sixteen notebook clues, the magnifying glass, and a one-hundred-percent rating.

The recovered site references sherlockholmesHRYJ_package.7z, an English-language script package distinct from the playable patch. The new page should link both records while retaining their separate licensing and provenance. The surviving original announcement is also valuable explanatory documentation.
